National Oil Corporation (NOC) announces that the Waha Oil Company (WOC) has completed preparations to start second-phase experimental production in the Faregh oilfield. Horizontal well B B-10-59 final preparations completed on November 16, 2018, with the well now targeting gas layer production within the field reservoir. Initial tests indicate production rates of 33 million cubic feet of gas, and 1400 barrels of condensate per day using a 64/64-inch wellhead choke.
The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announces that on November 25, 2018, the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) completed the development of the Nafoura oilfield Y1 well - originally discovered and drilled at the end of 2000. This well sits within a group of wells (Y, K and L) for which a dedicated budget has been set aside as part of AGOCO’s exploration development programme.
