National Oil Corporation (NOC) has declared force majeure on crude oil loadings at Zawiya port; commencing on Monday 16 July, 2018. This is a result of reduced production at Sharara following the recent attack and kidnap of four Akakus company employees (two were subsequently released).
TRIPOLI - 12 July, 2018 - National Oil Corporation (NOC) announces the lifting of force majeure at El-Feel, that has existed since February 23 2018. The dispute caused by the local Petroleum Facilities Guards’ (PFG) demands regarding pay and benefits was brought to an end, and pumping at the field is expected to resume to 50,000 bpd within two days, and to 72,000 bpd three days later.
Eng. Mustafa Sanalla, chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), today received HE the Ambassador of France to Libya, Mrs Brigitte Curmi. Mr. Salah Ben Ali, General Manager of the International Cooperation Office also attended the meeting.
On Wednesday 11 July 2018, National Oil Corporation (NOC) chairman, Eng. Mustafa Sanalla received Mr. Angus Mckee, Deputy Head of the British Embassy in Libya, in the presence of Mr. Salah Bin Ali, Director of the International Cooperation Bureau.
