NOC Board of Directors Approves New Short-Term Training Plan for Employees in the Sector

On Tuesday, August 12, at its tenth meeting of 2025, the NOC Board of Directors approved a short‑term training program prepared by the General Department of Training, Development and Capacity Building.

This plan aims to build capacity by raising performance and efficiency, preparing future leaders, promoting workplace safety, spurring innovation, increasing productivity, and advancing digital transformation and technology.

This plan is designed for all employees in the sector, regardless of their roles or professional specializations. It especially focuses on field-based workers at sites such as fields, ports, and operational locations, with particular emphasis on those who have not had prior training opportunities.

The NOC General Department of Training and Capacity Building is implementing a precise monitoring system to track direct training progress through an electronic platform. This system will oversee the implementation of training opportunities and ensure compliance with standards. It also requires companies to submit periodic reports that detail the number of courses completed and their impact on both individual company performance and the NOC as a whole

This training plan is built on a comprehensive and clear strategic vision, emphasizing specialized, hands-on training locally, followed by advanced training opportunities abroad. Additionally, the long-term training plan is scheduled to launch soon, aligning with the NOC’s overarching development vision to advance the sector.
