NOC Chairman Participates in Gastec Conference in Milan and Meets with Eni
On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, NOC Chairman Engineer Masoud Suleman took part in a panel discussion at the Gas Technologies Conference in Milan. The panel focused on the future of energy in North Africa, addressing current challenges and the importance of ensuring gas supplies to the global market. He was joined by Rachid Hachichi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Algeria’s SONATRACT, and Tarek El Molla, former Egyptian Minister of Petroleum.
During his participation, Engineer Masoud Suleiman emphasized the strong interest from major international companies in the public bidding round for exploration and energy projects. He also highlighted Libya’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions by minimizing gas flaring and transitioning to clean energy. Suleiman detailed NOC’s strategy to boost oil and gas production through a carefully planned timeline, which incorporates modern technologies to safeguard the environment.
