NOC Hosts Workshop on Flaring Reduction and Gas Utilization Initiative
Following the directives from the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Board of Directors to embrace the latest methods and technologies for natural gas utilization and to minimize flaring, the NOC held a technical workshop titled “The Flaring Reduction and Gas Utilization Initiative.”
The workshop agenda focused on the NOC’s goals of reducing gas loss and improving its use in power generation. Technical presentations from CAT and Solar Turbines showcased the latest solutions and technologies for flaring reduction and gas-to-energy conversion.
During their remarks, NOC representatives highlighted the significance of collaborating with international partners to implement practical projects that promote environmental protection and enhance operational efficiency. This aligns with the NOC’s strategy to boost production rates and ensure resource sustainability.
