NOC Meets with Zallaf to Discuss Ongoing Exploration Strategy
The Exploration Department of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) hosted its second technical meeting of 2026 with Zallaf Libya Exploration and Production Oil and Gas Company at its Tripoli headquarters. The session brought together technical specialists from both organizations, alongside representatives from the Petroleum Research Center.
Discussions focused on reviewing exploration activities conducted throughout the year, evaluating progress against target work plans, and outlining proposed exploration programs and strategies for 2027.
Delegates also reviewed the proposed 2027 budget, alongside the technical and financial resources required to execute upcoming exploration projects. These initiatives support the NOC’s strategic goals of boosting production, developing existing reserves, and unlocking new oil and gas discoveries.
