NOC supports conflict IDPs
Tripoli, 20 June 2019 – National Oil Corporation (NOC) has delivered an emergency relief package of food supplies and other essential commodities to the Libyan Red Crescent (LRC) in Tripoli. LRC Tripoli healthcare manager, Dr Mohamed Alshokri, confirmed that aid would immediately be distributed to shelter centres and displaced families.
NOC commends the exceptional efforts made by LRC voluntary teams to alleviate the suffering of thousands of civilians affected by the conflict. The corporation is proud to support vital relief efforts through the provision of necessary medical aid, shelter, and food supplies. NOC reiterates its call for an immediate ceasefire to hostilities.
