Investing in the rehabilitation of infrastructure and increasing the production rates of Waha Oil Company was the main theme discussed at the meeting of the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the CEO of ConocoPhillips.

The Chairman of NOC, Eng. Mustafa Sanalla, met with the CEO of ConocoPhillips, Mr. Ryan Lance, during the CERAWEEK conference in Houston, USA.
The Waha Oil Company’s Oil and Gas reserves and the rehabilitate of infrastructure in order to increase the current production rates of the Waha Oil Company through the Workover of shut-in wells and put them on production, as well as the development of the discovered fields such as the North Gailo field and plot NC98 and other discovered and undeveloped fields.
It has been agreed that technical workshop between NOC and ConocoPhillips technical teams will be held to discuss the details of the strategy of increasing production rates of Waha Oil Company over the next few weeks.
The Chairman of the NOC has recognised and appreciated ConocoPhillips commitment to develop oil and gas reserves from discovered and undeveloped fields within Waha Oil Company Portfolio to increase the current production rates to higher levels in the near future.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Khalifa Rajab Abdel Sadiq, Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of Murzuq Oil Services, Mr. Nick Old, Executive Vice President for Global Operations and Mr. Josh Corless, Vice President for International Government Affairs and Political Risk
