The NOC evaluates the performance of the Department of Health, Safety and Environment of its oil companies

Within the framework of the attention paid by the National Oil Corporation (NOC) to health, safety and environment and in accordance with the directives of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NOC to activate and develop follow-up mechanisms in this important field as well as work to raise the level of performance and readiness in these departments.
The Department of Health, Safety and Environment of the NOC began to hold a series of meetings with the departments of health, safety and environment of its companies, where a number of these meetings were held at the headquarters of these companies in the presence of general managers managers of departments, specialists of the NOC and oil companies.
 
These meetings included technical presentations including statistics and indicators of safety, environment and occupational health and follow-up mechanisms for projects related to safety and environment such as methods of disposal of accompanying water and industrial, evaluation of the efficiency of separation units and reducing Reducing gas burning, in addition to reviewing environmental performance improvement plans and projects, as well as assessing the readiness of fixed and mobile fire systems at all corporate locations.
 
Over the past few days up to now, a number of these meetings were held with:
– Waha Oil Company.
– Brega petroleum Marketing Company.
– Zueitina Oil Company.
 
Also, on the day of 13.3.2022, the meeting of Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Manufacturing Company was held at the company’s headquarters, which disscussed the company’s activity in the field of health, safety, environment, follow-up frameworks, coordination and mechanisms, to raise the level of performance and follow the basic rules of safety of workers and operations and follow-up the implementation of environmental protection programs, in addition to assessing the epidemiological situation of the company, which was characterized by the number of recipients of the coronavirus vaccine within the company and exceeded 98% of the total actual workforce numbers and there are currently no active cases.
