Ambassadors accredited to Libya welcome the lifting of force majeure and the resumption of oil production
A number of ambassadors accredited to Libya expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), which led to the lifting of the state of force majeure and the resumption of oil and gas production from all Libyan fields and terminals and its return to natural production and export rates.
This came at a dinner held in honor of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NOC, Mr. Farhat Ben Gdara, on Wednesday evening, July 27, 2022 in coordination between the Ministry of Oil and Gas, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the presence of a number of Ministers of the Government of National Unity.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the cooperation in the oil field between the NOC and representatives of participating countries was discussed.
