American Weatherford Return to Operations in Libya
This morning, 6 May, 2025, the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) met with Mr. Richard Ward, Deputy Executive Director of the American company Weatherford at at the NOC headquarters in Tripoli
During the meeting, Mr. Richard announced its return to operations in Libya after a hiatus of over ten years, expressing a genuine desire to resume its work in providing services to Libyan oil companies.
Mr. Richard clarified during the meeting that the company has already begun operations from its new headquarters in the Hay Al-Andalus district of Tripoli, confirming its readiness to provide full services from its field work site at Jalu 59 Oil Field.
