The Department of Health, Safety and Environment of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) invites you to be careful while driving in sandstorms and avoid driving, especially in desert areas, except for the utmost necessity in order to keep you safe.
Some tips for driving safe during sandstorms:
1) Not driving at high speed, where dust storms even light ones, cause the vehicle to unbalance.
2) Make sure you use the front and rear lights of the car, but not so strongly that it does not affect the vision of others on the road.
3) Close the windows of the car well to prevent dust from entering the car.
4) Leave a suitable safety distance with the rest of the cars.
5) Make sure the windshield and rear of the car are clean.
6) Find ways where there are no trees as much as possible.
We wish you health and safety at all times.
