Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Libya’s Independence
Today we are witnessing the seventieth anniversary of the independence of Libya, on the twenty-fourth of December 1951, after the Libyans turned a page of struggle and holy jihad for the sake of the homeland against the Italian colonialism, which began in the year 1911, when King Idris (may Allah have mercy on him) announced in such a Today in the year 1951, on the balcony of Al-Manar Palace in the beloved city of Benghazi, the independence of Libya, after a phase of jihad and in implementation of the resolution issued by the United Nations on November 21, 1949.
On this occasion dear to our hearts, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation ( NOC) extend their warmest congratulations and blessings to all workers in the oil sector in particular, and the Libyan people in general, praying to the Almighty to preserve the Libyan people, reunite them and unify their word, and to continue the work to build our dear country and to be achieved Pride and well-being of the Libyan citizen wherever they are.
