Chairman of the Board of Directors meets with Member of Parliament for Ghat
In the continuation of previous meetings with municipalities and local officials in The Fazan regions, Chairman of the Board of Directors Eng.Mustafa Sanalla met on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli, with the Member of Parliament for Ghat, Mr. Saleh Himma
During the meeting, the NOC’s support and the urgent needs of the people of the beloved South were discussed.
In this regard, an establishment of a gas recovery unit in Al-Shrara oil field was discussed, where the NOC studied it and is unable to finance it with the budgets or contributions allocated to it by foreign partners.
This project is considered as the final and effective solution to provide the product of cooking gas in all regions of the South once and for all.
“We assure to our people in the beloved South, that once the NOC gets the required budgets that it needs to implement vital projects that will support the national economy in the short and long term, and the completion of the necessary maintenance operations in various fields of its companies, which will contribute to increase the production rates, and most importantly, support for the neighboring regions,” Sanalla said.
