On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Mustafa Sanalla, has received Mr. Pascal Breant, the General Manager of Total Company, and his delegation, with presence of Mr. Abulgasem Shengher Member of the Board of Directors for Exploration and Production.
During the meeting, several important topics were discussed, most notably the lack of budgets and its impact on the planned field’s development programs, and the urgent need to cover day to day maintenance, well’s workover, pipeline repairs and replacement and storage tanks cleaning and repair …. etc.
The discussions included both organizations strategic plans to expedite the development of both North Gialo and NC-98 in fast track both fields will increase the company’s production by +/- 180 MBOPD. Also the discussion included the reinstatement of Dahra and Bahi field as well as Mabriuk field operated by Mabrouk oil operation. Also NOC has requested Total to provide their experience in the field of renewable energy, as NOC is studying few cases to utilize the renewable energy in some small fields as a pilot projects.
At the end of the meeting Eng.Mustafa Sanalla thanked Mr. Breant for his visit and expressed his thanks to the companies usual cooperation and support to the operator ms and also raise his concern in the lack of budget and its effect in stabilization of daily production and field development.
