Harouge Oil Operations Resumes Production from Well B-102 at Amal Field with Output of 1,500 Barrels per Day
Harouge Oil Operations has successfully resumed production from well B-102, located at the Amal Field (V-12), following the completion of a comprehensive maintenance program. The well is now producing at a daily rate of 1,500 barrels of crude oil.
The maintenance activities included a thorough technical evaluation of the well, execution of all necessary technical analyses, and the procurement and installation of a new electric submersible pump (ESP). These measures restored the well’s operational readiness and ensured stable production rates after being offline for more than a year and a half.
This initiative is part of the National Oil Corporation’s strategic plan to boost national oil production. It was carried out with direct support and oversight from Harouge’s Management Committee, which remains committed to reactivating idle wells and enhancing the operational readiness of oilfield infrastructure.
