National Oil Corporation continues efforts to support Libya’s health sector to face Corona pandemic

On Saturday 19-12-2020, an integrated laboratory in the municipality of Zuwara has been opened to conduct analysis and test samples for the Covid 19 virus, including PCR and all other equipment and the required tools to increase the number of tests conducted for Libyan citizens for the purpose of tracking cases and reducing the spread of this pandemic.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Manager of Sustainable Development Department of the National Oil Corporation ( NOC ), the Follow-up Coordinator of the NOC’s Sustainable department, a representative from Mellitah Gas Complex, as well as the Dean of the Municipality of Zuwara and members of the Municipal Council, the Biotech Research Center’s Manager, a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee against Corona, the Manager of the Isolation Center, a group of distinguished attendees, specialists and staff of Zowara Isolation Center.
the work will begin in the laboratory from Sunday after medical personnel were trained by the Biotechnology Research Center.
