NOC and Subsidiaries Discuss Boosting Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity
The NOC’s General Department of Information and Digital Transformation held its periodic meeting with IT managers from oil companies, centers, and institutes at its headquarters in Tripoli. Part of an ongoing series of regular meetings, it is designed to monitor performance, advance technical projects, assess the readiness of digital infrastructure, strengthen information security, and improve coordination across the sector. The meeting focused on reviewing progress and promoting greater integration among the corporation’s affiliated entities.
The meeting included a thorough review of the key technical and operational challenges facing oil companies, along with a discussion of the procedures in place to protect systems and ensure the highest levels of cybersecurity readiness.
Participants also highlighted the importance of aligning efforts, sharing expertise, and learning from successful experiences across different entities. They called for continued efforts to strengthen the capabilities of national personnel and further develop their skills in digital transformation, in line with the NOC’s aspirations and strategic objectives.
