NOC Chairman Honors Oil Sector Workers on Labor Day, Hails Them “Unexceptionally Exemplary”

Engineer Masoud Suleman, Chairman of the National Oil Corporation’s Board of Directors, voiced deep pride in oil sector employees for their ongoing and past contributions at all work sites, fulfilling their assigned duties and responsibilities. He praised their resilience in overcoming the sector’s recurring challenges, which ultimately led to increased production rates that not only met but consistently maintained target levels.

Speaking Sunday at a ceremony held at NOC headquarters to honor outstanding employees for International Workers’ Day—an event attended by nominees from affiliated companies—Suleman also recognized safety teams at production sites. He applauded their steadfast dedication to duty, even in high-risk and emergency scenarios.

“While we honor exemplary employees today, this recognition doesn’t mean excellence is confined to them alone,” Suleman stressed. He reiterated his conviction that *every* worker in the sector upholds high standards, a fact clearly reflected in their results, work ethic, and the overall success of their institutions.

The event, which brought together board members, department heads, and staff from NOC and its subsidiaries, also saw union representatives present an award to Engineer Suleman. They acknowledged his unwavering efforts, support for the workforce, and dedication to continuously improving employees’ professional skills and career growth.
