NOC kicks off workshop to drive local investment in oil sector
Officials from the NOC’s Industrial Department held a larger meeting Monday, January 06, 2026, with representatives from the Investment Authority, Zallaf Oil Company, and Zawiya Oil Refining Company.
The meeting, held at the NOC’s headquarters, focused on preparations for a workshop on strategic partnerships with investors to develop the oil industry. The workshop, organized by the NOC in partnership with the Privatization Investment Authority, will take place on February 9th.
Through its various sessions and discussions, the workshop aims to explore ways to capitalize on local investment opportunities to develop the domestic oil industry, particularly those related to upgrading local refineries.
In this context, the NOC and the Investment Authority invite local investors and relevant stakeholders to participate and present their capabilities to contribute to the development of the oil industry.
