Oil Discoveries Achieved by NOC in 2025
The table below shows the oil discoveries made by the NOC in various fields in 2025, following the completion of drilling operations and the start of the testing and evaluation phase.
According to the NOC’s strategy, these completed wells are set to significantly boost production next year by thousands of barrels of crude oil per day and will help replenish existing reserves with new oil and gas.
The NOC is actively pursuing its plan to boost production rates by inviting major international companies to invest in exploration and production in Libya, with the goal of strengthening the national economy.
