Petro Air reviews its activities at its General Assembly meeting with the NOC Chairman of the Board of Directors

Petro Air, a national subsidiary of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) reviewed its activities and achievements in projects and operations during its 2024 General Assembly meeting held today, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Masoud Suleman.

The meeting also discussed the company’s activities and achievements in terms of projects and operations, as well as the challenges it faced and proposed solutions to overcome those obstacles. This was within the framework of development plans and performance enhancement that the NOC works on.

The meeting also discussed performance reports and the company’s future plans aimed at enhancing the efficiency of air transport services and supporting the oil and gas sector by improving the operational structure and expanding its technical capabilities.

The meeting stressed the importance of intensifying coordination with sector companies to ensure the sustainability of operations and the development of services to meet the growing needs of the oil industry in Libya.

This meeting comes within the context of the NOC’s efforts to strengthen governance and monitor the performance of its subsidiaries. It contributes to achieving the sector’s strategic objectives.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman and members of the Management Committee of the Petro Air Company, the Chairman of the Development Fund, the heads of the Management Committees of the Waha, Sirte, Harouge, and Zueitina companies, and a group of department managers from the NOC, including the Legal, Financial, and Internal Audit Departments.
