Production Increase Plan Committee Continues Field Tours and Visits to Waha and Harouge Oil Fields
The Production Increase Plan Committee, along with a technical team from relevant departments at the National Oil Corporation (NOC), continued its field visits to multiple oil fields and production sites operated by Waha Oil Company and Harouge Oil Operations. These tours are part of the scheduled inspection program and ongoing efforts to track the implementation of NOC plans designed to improve efficiency and expand production capacity.
This latest round of visits covered the Jalu (59), Waha, Defa, Alfaragh and Dahra fields, operated by Waha Oil Company, as well as the Ghani field, operated by Harouge Oil Operations.
During the tours, the team inspected production stations, facilities, and critical oil infrastructure to evaluate technical performance and monitor the progress of key projects currently under way under the production increase plan.
The committee also held a series of intensive technical meetings with field officials and on-site operations teams. The sessions gave them the chance to hear firsthand observations from the fields, discuss the major technical, administrative, and financial challenges affecting operations, and identify practical solutions to address obstacles and speed up the completion of priority projects.
These ongoing visits are part of NOC’s direct oversight and coordinated engagement with all operating companies and field technical teams. This is to ensure that approved targets are met, production operations remain sustainable, and production rates continue to rise.
