Ras Lanuf confirms to the NOC the restart of the ethylene plant before mid-September
On Sunday, at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli, the Board of Directors held a meeting via the closed circuit, with presidency of Mr. Farhat Ben Gdara, and in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors Dr. Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, Ahmed Ammar, Hussein Saffar and Masoud Moussa, with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Processing company, Mr. Shaaban Basibso, members of the Board of Directors of the company, and a numbe
r of managers of departments of the company.
During the meeting, the general activity of the company was discussed, and the executive position of the projects being implemented was identified.
Ras Lanuf officials briefed the board of directors of the NOC on the progress of the company’s operations and the projects completed, in addition to the difficulties and obstacles facing them, and the efforts made to accelerate the restart of the ethylene plant, emphasizing their intention to restart it before the mid-September.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NOC praised the tremendous efforts exerted by the management of “Ras Lanuf” and its employees, stressing his permanent and full support for the company to achieve all its objectives and accomplish its projects that will strengthen the national economy.
