Ras Lanuf Successfully Restarts Second Polyethylene Production Line
Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Processing Company has successfully resumed operations of the second production line at its polyethylene plant after more than 12 years of inactivity.
As of Wednesday, the company has officially integrated the line into its production process, marking a significant step in boosting the plant’s output capacity and meeting local market demand for polyethylene, a key material used in various plastic industries.
It is worth noting that the maintenance and restoration of the line to its former production capacity and regular operations were carried out entirely by Libyan hands, under the supervision of Libyan engineers. This achievement underscores the capabilities of national companies and their workforce in overcoming challenges and advancing the national economy while promoting and developing the sector.
This milestone also reflects the tremendous efforts of local companies’ workforce, their dedication, and their determination to achieve success and overcome obstacles in their pursuit of excellence.
