ORLEN SA (ORLEN) is a global, integrated multi-utility corporation engaged in the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry, as well as in power generation and distribution.
The ORLEN’s subsidiary PGNiG Upstream North Africa B.V., and its Libya Branch (PUNA) is one of companies bounded with National Oil Corporation by Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement from the year 2008. The Agreement covers the contract Area 113 (Blocks 1 & 2) in Murzuq basin.
PUNA announces the release of the Tender No. T/29/24 and invites highly qualified, reputable manufacturers and trading companies with proven experience in the supply of seamless steel casing and tubing to submit their offers and prequalification documents.
The specifications, parameters and other necessary details are contained in the tender documentation, which can be obtained from the following address starting from 7th January 2025 until 10th January 2025 between 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
The set of tender documents shall be collected by authorized contractor’s representative.
The bid must be submitted not later than Tuesday 4th February 2025 at 03:00 p.m. (Libyan time). Bid’s opening date will be on Wednesday 5th February 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (Libyan time) at our offices in Janzour.

Contract area 113 (Blocks 1 & 2) is located in Murzuq Basin, ~ 700 km southwest of Tripoli.
Important Notes:
Interested suppliers for the above indicated tender should call for the collection of bid documents & pre-qualification questionnaire from our offices in Janzour.
Interested suppliers must satisfy the requirements and submit the required information.
The pre-qualification process is a part of tender procedures, and filling in of such questionnaire by supplier is one of the conditions of participation for such supplier in the tender.
The interested suppliers included in the list of approved suppliers of PUNA are exempted from pre-qualification procedures.
Only the offers of eligible suppliers that meet the pre-qualification criteria, which shall be determined by PUNA sole discretion, will be accepted with their offers.
PUNA will not be responsible for any cost incurred for preparation and submission presented in response of this announcement.
PUNA will only deal with the actual suppliers performing the supplies and not through agents.
The language of all proceedings and documents related to such proceedings will be English.
Interested suppliers are requested to submit their technical & commercial offers in two separate and sealed envelopes.
Collection of bid document is free of charge.
