The Chairman of the Board receives His Excellency the Italian Ambassador to Libya
On Thursday, July 28, 2022, Mr. Farhat Ben Gdara, Chairman of the Board of Directors received His Excellency the Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Buccino, at the headquarter of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli.
Ambassador Buccino expressed his happiness with this meeting, pointing to the size of the historical relationship and economic cooperation between the two countries, and he also expressed his blessing on the return of production and export operations and increasing their rates significantly.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board Of Directors Mr. Farhat Ben Gdara stressed the neutrality of the NOC and its independence, and its avoidance of any political tensions.
He also stressed the importance of maintaining continued production and export to achieve financial returns to finance salaries and the needs of citizens.
In a related context, Mr. Ben Gdara pointed out that there are great opportunities to invest in the oil and gas sector in Libya, through development projects that the NOC is working on and its cooperation with its international partners in the field of oil and energy, and to benefit from their expertise and bring the latest technology to the Libyan oil sector to develop it, as it is the main tributary of the national economy.
