The Chairman of the NOC participates the opening of ADIPEC 2025, reaffirming Libya’s commitment to boosting production while adhering to sustainability standards.

Today, Monday, November 03, 2025, Eng. Masoud Suleman, the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), and his delegation participated in the opening of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025), one of the premier events in the energy, oil, and gas sector worldwide.

On the first day of the conference, Eng. Suleiman took part in the Leadership Roundtable, which was led by the Secretary General of OPEC and organized in partnership with KPMG. The theme of the discussion was “Cooperation, Diversification, and Innovation: Ensuring the Stability of the Global Oil Market.”

During the session, the Chairman of the NOC emphasized that Libya depends on oil and gas as its main source of national income. He shared that the NOC has developed clear plans to boost production to meet the demands of both local and global markets, while also committing to environmentally friendly practices by reducing gas flaring and treatment of produced water in oil operations.

Suleman acknowledged the strong interest from international companies in participating in the public bidding rounds organized by the NOC. He explained that this widespread participation from various continents demonstrates major companies’ ongoing commitment to investing in the fossil fuel sector to meet the rising demand for energy.
