The NOC is geographically expanding its efforts to localize training in cities across Libya.
The National Oil Corporation (NOC) is working to localize training and enhance the skills of human resources in the oil and gas sector.
To achieve this goal, the General Administration of Training, Development, and Capacity Building has formed a working team made up of specialists from the Technical and Administrative Development Center and SLB. Over the past two days, the team visited the Petroleum Technology Institute in Sabha and the headquarters of Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company. During these visits, they discussed collaboration on specialized training programs aimed at improving the efficiency of human resources in the sector, with an emphasis on geographically localizing training in various regions.
The SLB Fast Track program is currently underway in Tripoli and Benghazi, with plans to expand to include Sabha and Ajdabiya in the fourth quarter of this year.
This program aims to train second-line personnel, supporting NOC’s strategic vision to boost oil and gas production rates.
These initiatives demonstrate a commitment to enhancing local capabilities and supporting Libya’s oil and gas sector, which will lead to positive outcomes in production and economic development for the country.
