With a capacity of 60 beds … the NOC opens a section for women and childbirth and a new administrative building in the Oil Clinic
The chairman of the board of directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, opened on Wednesday evening a new administrative building in the Oil Clinic, a department for women and childbirth in the sanatorium equipped with the latest equipment, with a capacity of 60 shelter beds, a general surgery suite and central sterilization and high care.
The opening was attended by the member of the board of director of the NOC Mr. Abulgasem Shengeer, members of the management committee at the Oil Clinic Mohammed Mr. Abu Azza and Dr. Al-Sadiq al-Majrab, chairman of the management committee of Harouge Oil Operations Mr. Khalifa Amru, a number of general managers and managers of departments of the NOC and the Oil Clinic, medical staff, and the general manager of Al-Methalia company which implemented the project to develop the sanatorium.
The chairman of the board of directors of the NOC, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, delivered a speech on this occasion, which he thanked the management of the sanatorium and all its employees and Al-Waha Company for their continued follow-up and supervision of the implementation of this project, which will work to provide the best services to the families of workers in the oil sector, and thanked the ‘Al-Methalia’ company which implemented this project, for its considering the circumstances that the NOC and the Oil Clinic have gone through in the past period.
Mr. Sanalla confirmed the NOC’s intention to complete the troubled projects and new facilities, and the adoption of a decision by its board of directors to establish three sanatoriums in Sabha, Ajdabiya and Tobruk, in addition to the project to establishing Benghazi sanatorium, reflecting the stability of conditions and the continued flow of oil, and providing the necessary budgets for the oil sector so that the best services can be provided to its workers.
On the sidelines of the opening, members of the Management Committee of the Oil Clinic provided shields honoring to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the NOC for their fruitful efforts, continued support and follow-up to the progress of this project, and to the company “Al-Methalia”‘ which implemented the mentioned project.
Certificates of appreciation were also provided to retired sanatorium staff in 2021_2022, in honour of them for having done their work with sincerity and dedication.
