Zawiya Oil Refinery and NOC Discuss Future Production and Refining Plans for 2025
In a joint technical and financial meeting, the National Oil Corporation ( NOC) and Zawiya Oil Refinery reviewed the company’s ongoing activities for this year and outlined its production targets for 2025.
The discussions covered refining operations at the Zawiya refinery, production at the asphalt plants in Zawiya and Benghazi, and activities at the oil blending and packaging plant. The meeting also addressed deferred capital projects, those currently underway, and proposals for next year’s developments.
The meeting, held at the NOC’s headquarters in Tripoli, brought together the General Manager of Petroleum Industries, the General Manager of the Investment Department, and managers from the Health, Safety, and Environment, Refining, and Local Distribution departments. Also in attendance were the Chairman and members of Zawiya Oil Refinery’s Board of Directors, as well as observers and specialists from both organizations.
