Mellitah Restores Well R11 to Production at 2,062 BPD
The technical teams at the Mellitah Oil and Gas Company successfully rehabilitated well R11 and restored it to production after completing the necessary work. The project involved installing an electronically controlled submersible pump (ESP). As a result, oil production has now reached approximately 2,062 barrels per day.
This achievement aligns with the company’s strategy to reactivate dormant wells and expand production capacity, strengthening long-term production sustainability while supporting its operational targets.
In recognition of these efforts, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NOC extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to Mellitah’s management committee and to all personnel involved. He commended their tireless dedication, noting that their work continues to support the development of the oil and gas sector.
