NOC Continues Technical Meetings on Petroleum Training and Qualifying Institutes
The first technical meeting for the Petroleum Training and Qualifying Institute in Sabha was held today, Thursday, October 1, 2026. The meeting was attended by the Director of the General Department of Human Resources Development, advisors, relevant department managers, the NOC’s Educational Institutions Controller, and the Institute’s management committee.
A presentation was delivered on the Institute’s activities, training and qualifying plans and programs, and their implementation status. Key needs and challenges were also discussed, covering technical, administrative, and financial aspects, as well as completed and ongoing projects and the status of revenues, expenditures, and obligations.
The discussions included proposed measures to address challenges affecting the Institute’s academic operations, along with the importance of following up on pending projects to ensure their completion and improve overall performance.
