NOC Convenes Technical Meeting on Zawiya Petroleum Institute Performance
Today, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the General Department of Human Resources Development, in coordination with the relevant technical departments at the National Oil Corporation (NOC), held the first annual technical meeting at the Zawiya Petroleum Training and Qualifying Institute.
The meeting focused on monitoring and evaluating the Institute’s performance and was attended by the Institute’s management committee, as well as its department and section managers.
The workflow, along with the training and qualification programs and their implementation rates, were reviewed. The discussion also covered technical, administrative, and financial aspects, including completed and pending projects, as well as the status of revenues, expenditures, and financial obligations.
Recommendations focused on following up to complete stalled projects and resolving technical and financial issues. Measures were also identified to improve training outcomes to better meet the needs of the Libyan oil and gas sector.
