NOC Holds Coordination Meeting Ahead of Receiving Gas from Bouri Oil Field
The Production Department of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) held a high-level coordination meeting attended by NOC department managers and technical staff, along with Mellitah Oil & Gas and Eni North Africa managers and specialists.
The meeting focused on the arrangements needed to receive, process, and use approximately 100 million cubic feet of gas produced from the Bouri field at the Mellitah Industrial Complex, as well as key organizational matters related to gas transportation and processing operations.
Discussions also centered on coordination and cooperation mechanisms among the different stakeholders to ensure the work is carried out according to the approved schedules and to strengthen the facilities’ readiness to handle the produced volumes.
The meeting highlights NOC’s commitment to advancing gas utilization projects and aligning stakeholders around shared goals. These efforts support the NOC’s objectives to use produced gas and eliminate flaring by 2030, in line with national priorities aimed at environmental sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.
