NOC Launches Digital Sovereignty Program to Secure Critical
The NOC, in collaboration with the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO), inaugurated a comprehensive workshop titled “Knowledge Transfer and Experience Sharing in Cybersecurity.” The event brought together leading cybersecurity and information technology experts from across the sector.
The workshop will focus on developing a unified strategy to protect digital systems and secure production facilities against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
AGOCO’s Management Committee Chairman stressed that safeguarding the sector’s digital environment is essential to ensure uninterrupted operations and protect national assets.
The Director of the NOC’s General Department of Information and Digital Transformation said the event is a key milestone in the NOC’s vision to build an integrated defense system by equipping national talent to master the latest global technologies.
Over three days, participants will take part in intensive training covering advanced protection solutions and extended response systems such as MS Sentinel, MS XDR, and MS Entra ID, to ensure the highest standards of digital readiness are implemented across all oil sites.
