Ajdabiya Petroleum Training Institute Establishes Natural Gas Technology Dept
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) issued Resolution No. 829 of 2026, establishing a high-level committee to oversee the creation of a Natural Gas Technology Training and Rehabilitation Department at the Ajdabiya Petroleum Training and Rehabilitation Institute. This initiative reflects the NOC Board’s commitment to national capacity-building programs.
The newly formed committee held its first meeting on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Institute’s headquarters after completing an assessment of available resources and beginning the initial studies required for this important project. The initiative aims to build the technical expertise needed to support investment in the natural gas sector, in line with the NOC’s overall vision for this area.
