NOC Explores Ways to Enhance Trainee Skills and Simplify Travel Arrangements with Prestigious US Universities

The NOC held an in-depth Zoom meeting with representatives from several leading U.S. universities and a delegate from the U.S. Embassy. The discussion focused on ways to strengthen the skills of trainees and ensure the highest quality standards across accredited training programs. The group also reviewed arrangements to support the U.S. visa application process for selected personnel ahead of any final travel decisions.

The meeting was attended by members of the committee responsible for coordinating cooperation with U.S. universities, chaired by the Director General of the NOC’s Human Resources Development Department. Participants reviewed the scientific components of the training programs and approaches for developing technical skills. They also discussed the implementation steps needed to facilitate travel arrangements and to enroll trainees in their respective academic programs.

This meeting is part of the NOC’s strategy to develop its human resources and enhance operational and technical performance in the oil and gas sector. It does so by strengthening partnerships with leading international universities and educational institutions.
