NOC Meets Operating Companies to Address Production Challenges
The Director of Production at the National Oil Corporation (NOC) met with the directors of production and operations at the operating oil companies.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen communication and coordination between the Corporation and those companies. It also reviewed the main operational challenges affecting production operations, and discussed how to speed up responses to resolve them through direct communication and timely information sharing, so interventions can be made without delay.
For his part, Mr. Muftah Bouzuhra, Director of Production at the NOC, emphasized the NOC’s commitment to supporting the operating companies and to working as one unified team. He noted that reaching the target of about 1.5 million barrels per day by the end of the year will require sustained effort and ongoing coordination to keep production levels steady and continue increasing them.
The meeting ended with participants stressing the need for continued cooperation and joint work to address technical and logistical challenges. They said that this is essential to maintain operational stability and achieve the oil sector’s strategic goals.
